I came in on a Friday for lunch, told this place by a coworker. Service was excellent and the lunch special sushi was excellent and affordable. They also have many other dishes to offer, including Korean food and possibly Chinese food too. I will come back again and try more.

We absolutely loved eating here!!! The service was fantastic and the food was even better!! Best onion soup of anywhere we have tried, the sushi was soooo delicious, and my husband really liked the hibachi!! I highly recommend this little restaurant!!

We just went to Maru Sushi and Grill for the very first time on 1/28/23! We were greeted warmly and seated at a table very quickly. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxing. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and they all arrived to our table in a nice timely manner! We had menu questions and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions very well! We each made an order of sushi and soon the wonderful food arrived...it was so delicious and such a great combination of flavors! We will become regulars for sure!!!! The SUSHI WAS SUPER FRESH and SO YUMMY!!!!

The Japanese & Korean sushi & grill restaurant you may not know about is fairly priced & has great food! Right in the Booksamillion plaza next to Sanford Mall, head into plaza, turn left and it's at the end. It's a small intimate restaurant with servers that are attentive & friendly. I've been here twice, my daughter has been here many times with friends, never had any problems or complaints. Be mindful of the hours open, they do close after lunch and reopen for dinner.

Although it looks simple from the outside, Maru is a hidden gem. The restaurant is extremely clean inside, and the sushi bar is pristine. The menu has a wonderful selection for vegetarians, and they use high-quality fish for their rolls. The ratio of rice to filling is perfect. I have never had a bad meal here!

This is my ultimate comfort food spot. The bibimbap tastes like it was made by a sweet Korean grandma secretly hiding in the kitchen—it’s that authentic! Everything here is incredible, and the field crab is absolutely heavenly. Highly recommended!
